- First City Council on Cancer-Ketchikan based-all volunteer organization dedicated to reducing the impact of cancer related problems. Assistance for medical treatment, travel or for screen exams is available up to $2,000 for the initial award and $1,500 for subsequent requests. 907-225-4104
- Medicaid-if you do not have health insurance and need financial assistance to handle the costs related to cancer therapy, applications for State of Alaska public assistance, including Medicaid, are available at the courthouse.
- Petersburg Medical Center Foundation, Beat the Odds-provides local support to residents in need of assistance for uninsured medical equipment rentals at Petersburg Rexall.
